[AG-L] cameras

We've used a lot of Canon VC-C4 cameras however after using them several
times in less than optimum light levels I must say their performance is
very poor. (In VIC they are so noisy that the frame rate will drop
dramatically to keep under the maximum bandwidth setting).
I'd be interested in any cameras (maybe even the new canon version) that
can perform well in low light.
It does seem from anecdotal evidence that even a cheap cam-corder has
better low light performance than some of the cameras we use. But of
course YMMV as these aren't subjective tests.
